Portfolio Managers oversee research and investment decisions within their assigned industry coverage. Working directly under the Chief Investment Officer, each Portfolio Manager refines pitch materials, evaluates stock recommendations, and leads pitch presentations alongside Analysts and Associates. They are responsible for maintaining industry awareness, mentoring Associates, and ensuring the quality and consistency of investment research across SWS.

Fall 2025 Associates

SWS Associates serve as the bridge between Analysts and Portfolio Managers. They manage Analysts, oversee the creation of coverage reports and investment pitches, and assist with valuation and due diligence work. Associates collaborate closely with their industry Portfolio Manager to maintain transparency and rigor in research, and they help lead Analyst interviews and development initiatives.

Analysts are the core of SWS’s research process. They generate potential investment ideas, conduct company and industry analysis, and build pitch materials in collaboration with Associates. Through monthly industry rotations, analysts gain exposure to diverse sectors and develop a strong foundation in equity research, valuation, and presentation skills.
